How we react to the disappointments we face in our relationships, in ourselves, and our politics is at the heart of emotional sobriety, because of how they come crashing into our unreasonable expectations and unenforceable rules. This week we focus on the process of investigating those disappointments to understand what they’re doing to us and how. Next week we’ll discuss how to mobilize them to act on our own behalf.
